France Coast - Avranches to the Loire Valley

We seem to stop every half hour at some castle, chateau, fortress or ruin! I shout 'look at that' and Pete valiantly tries to find a park with less than a minute's notice. These are the ruins of the Champtoce du Loire. You can clamber around them and imagine what each of the areas might have been used for centuries ago.
